Architectura SA, Inc. in San Antonio, Texas has provided government agencies, corporations, religious groups, entrepreneurs, organizations, educational institutions, and individuals with architectural design and assistance as required for the development of their unique projects. We cover all aspects of design and Architectural services from the early stages of site acquisition and master planning to the completion and occupation of the building. It is through our collective experience in design…an efficient methodology was developed for organizing and categorizing the owner’s needs to develop a solution in harmony with his/her vision and desires. As a firm we emphasize the use of cost effective construction systems in the pursuit of low energy consumption by utilizing innovative energy efficient design strategies. These strategies allow for the creation of high performance building envelopes that provides the owner with safe, energy efficient, and quiet buildings with an enhanced structural performance capable of withstanding extreme weather events.
Efficiency is the foundation of our design, therefore for the past 15 years we have implemented the use of Insulated concrete forms (ICF) for clients interested in achieving high performance building envelopes that integrate first-class indoor environments with superior sound control, comfort, and safety.
In addition, the use of I.C.F. (Insulated Concrete Forms) provides one of the simplest and fastest path for achieving a FORTIFIED designation, the National Standard for Resilient Construction created by the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS). This designation process recognizes the building’s increased resilience and ensures that the structure is built to some of the highest standards available in the industry today. Architectura SA is listed by IBHS as a FORTIFIED-Wise Professional & Evaluator and, if desired, will ensure the higher standards of resilience are proficiently incorporated into the project’s design goals.
