Inspired by the ICF design of the Architectura SA office headquarters, Aziz Oriental Rugs approached Architectura SA with the ultimate goal of reducing their monthly business operating costs and to create an architectural design that will create more exposure for Aziz Oriental Rugs.

The superior energy efficient properties of ICF construction along with the desire to create an eye-catching roof design made the combination of AMVIC ICF Blocks and American Shelter Arch Metal Roofing system the ideal construction system for this project.

Compared to the previous lease space, this project almost doubled the square footage of the available retail space and consumes approximately a third of the utility expenses. The energy savings from this project along with the additional square footage have maximized the efficiency of Aziz Oriental Rugs business operations. This building is a great example of insulated concrete form Architecture maximizing on the client’s initial investment.
