The New Building for Roten & Company Insurance highlights one of the many ways Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) can dramatically simplify & expedite the construction process while exhibiting unique design elements. The beautiful design of Roten & Co. Insurance features elegant corner windows that boldly defines the exterior while incorporating natural daylighting for the office’s interior. With the ultimate goal of maximizing the buildable area, the interior office incorporates a large volume with an upstairs mezzanine. By utilizing ICF for the building envelope, the project exceeds the International Energy Code requirements by nearly 50% and was given utility rebates. The stacking of the ICF blocks along with the placement of the fenestration openings only took six days to complete and allowed for an accelerated construction schedule to expedite project completion.
