Innovative Building Solutions
Near the Mexican Border in an area known for extremely hot summer temperatures is the town of Carrizo Springs, Texas. Carrizo Springs is located in Dimmit County and is considered to be one of the most prosperous counties in the State of Texas. As part of the county’s facility expansion goals a new courthouse annex was built.
Given the fact that the building must stand for generations to come, utilizing ICF construction with LED technology enabled Architectura SA to design a permanent, long-lasting, durable, energy-efficient structure that will enable to county to keep their facility operating costs to a minimum while efficiently maximizing their services for the county residents. Architectura SA along with its expertise in the use of ICF Design created a great example of the possibilities of using insulated concrete forms construction for the design of government buildings that must meet construction budget while still meeting all project objectives.
